Policy: Suspension of Subscriptions During Pregnancy
Purpose:
To support the health and well-being of our pregnant patients, we offer a policy to place subscriptions on hold throughout the pregnancy period, ensuring a stress-free experience during this important time.
Policy Details:
1. Eligibility:
• Patients who are pregnant and provide notification of their pregnancy to the practice are eligible for this policy.
2. Suspension Period:
• Subscriptions may be suspended from the time of notification until six weeks postpartum or as otherwise determined by our Practice Manager.
3. Notification and Process:
• To request a suspension, patients are required to notify the practice of their pregnancy via phone or email
• Patients are encouraged to provide a tentative return-to-service date, which can be adjusted later as needed.
4. Financial Implications:
• No fees will be charged for placing subscriptions on hold during pregnancy.
• Any remaining subscription term will resume upon reactivation.
5. Reactivation of Subscription:
• Patients can contact the practice to resume their subscription at any time after the suspension period begins, up until six weeks postpartum or as otherwise determined by our Practice Manager
• The practice will ensure the patient’s transition back is seamless and accommodating.
6. Exceptions and Considerations:
• Additional suspension time or special accommodations can be arranged based on medical needs or personal circumstances.
