Medicare is integral to our telehealth services, facilitating patient care and regulatory compliance.


How is Medicare used?


  • Proof of Identity - Medicare details are used to verify your identity during registration and initial consultations, ensuring that our services are accurately targeted.
  • Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS) - you access subsidized prescription medications through PBS, with Medicare information utilized to process these claims efficiently.
  • Prescription Monitoring - Medicare data supports our participation in prescription monitoring programs like SafeScript and QScript, enhancing safety and compliance in the prescribing of Schedule 8 medications.
  • Bulk Billing - each eligible telehealth appointment will be bulk-billed. Medicare rebates will go to Kantoko and will not be paid or credited to subscribers.

Is Medicare required?


Yes.


Medicare is required in order to access the services of psychiatrists through our platform, and each telehealth appointment will be bulk-billed. Under our subscription model, Medicare rebates will go to Kantoko and will not be paid or credited to subscribers.


Are Medicare Rebates available for the Subscription Fee?


No, there are no Medicare rebates or incentives available for the Subscription Fee.


Are Appointments Bulk Billed?


Eligible appointments are bulk billed. You will be required to sign the Bulk Billing Consent form for each eligible appointment.
