How do I get started with the Kantoko mobile app?
To get started, download the Kantoko mobile app for iPhone or Android.
Once downloaded, open the app and log in using the email address and password linked to your Kantoko account. You’ll then be able to view and manage key parts of your care from your phone.

You can use the Kantoko app to manage key parts of your care, including
Appointments
Check-ins
Medications
Messages
Profile details and
Account settings
How do I log in?
Open the app and enter the email address and password linked to your Kantoko account.
If you have forgotten your password, tap Forgot password? on the login screen.
Can I join appointments from the app?
Yes. Eligible video appointments can be joined from the app.
The join button may only appear close to your appointment time. You will also need to allow camera and microphone access.
Can I view my medications in the app?
Yes. You can view your current and past medication information in the app.
Can I request a prescription repeat in the app?
Yes. Prescription repeat requests can be completed from your phone, but may open securely inside the app using Kantoko’s web experience.
Can I read messages in the app?
Yes. You can open inbox notifications and messages in the app.
Can I update my details in the app?
Yes. You can update many profile details in the app, including:
- Name
- Preferred name
- Date of birth
- Sex assigned at birth
- Gender identity
- Pronouns
- Indigenous status
- Occupation
- Address
Some details, such as Medicare or Regular GP information, may open securely inside the app using Kantoko’s web experience.
Does the app support two-factor authentication?
Two-factor authentication is not currently supported in the mobile app login flow.
If your account requires two-factor authentication, please log in using a mobile browser or desktop browser.
Can I use Face ID or Touch ID?
Yes, if your device supports it.
You can enable biometric app lock in the app settings. This helps protect access to the app on your device.
Why does part of the app open in a web page?
Some Kantoko features currently use our secure web experience inside the app.
This lets you complete important care tasks from your phone while we continue improving the mobile app.
Why am I being asked to update the app?
You may be asked to update the app when a newer version is available.
Sometimes an update is required so you can keep using the app safely.
